Prior to joining Kazyna Capital Management JSC in May 2008 Mr. Yegeubayev worked as Senior Attorney in Almaty office of Baker & McKenzie (2006-2008) specializing in M&A, Securities and Banking & Finance.      Mr. Yegeubayev worked as Senior Attorney for Bracewell & Giuliani (2002 – 2006) and as overseas lawyer for two British law firms: CMS Cameron McKenna (1996-2000) and Denton Wilde Sapte (2000-2002). Mr. Yegeubayev was involved in advising EBRD and other international investors on numerous debt and equity investments in Kazakhstan and abroad including drafting and perfecting security packages and providing legal opinions. He was also advising lead managers on due diligence and offering circulars for initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange and guaranteed proposals of Euronotes issues on international borrowing markets in 2004-2007 from USD100,000,000 to USD850,000,000.

Mr. Yegeubayev supervises for KCM legal aspects in structuring and establishment of private equity funds with both independent and captive financial sponsors with capitalization up to USD1.5 billion and advises Treasury Department in respect of asset management transactions (money markets, bonds, derivatives, etc.).
