By the Law of RK dated 05 February 2010 On Introduction of Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning Issues of Immunity of the State and its Ownership, Improvement of the Activity of Arbitration Tribunals and International Commercial Arbitration amendments and additions were introduced to the Laws on Arbitral Tribunals and International Commercial Arbitration.

Promulgated in “Kazakhstanskaya pravda” newspaper on 18 February 2010, the Law was carried into effect on the expiry of 10 calendar days after its first official promulgation.

In this regard on 09 March 2010 by the decision of the General Meeting of participants there was approved new edition of Arbitration Rules of the Kazakhstani International Arbitrage, Regulations on Arbitration Fees and Expenses, Declaration on Assumption of the functions of an arbitrator and independence of arbitrator from the parties, and also Regulations on Arbitrators Honoraria.
